Rebecca and her family are at Grandma Whitaker's funeral today. We visited her together twice. Once at the hospital after the summer family reunion and again at her home at the end of our honeymoon. Her greetings and parting statements were always "life is good".
The funeral was amazing! It was wonderful to see all the people whose lives she brought joy to. She really is our "Rae" of sunshine. :) I'm sure the thing that made her the happiest was the fact that every one of her grandchildren was able to be there. I'm so glad I was! I'm really going to miss my grandma.
